Rappin’ Vancity Teens!

so, this organization Power of Hope puts together workshops for kids  who might not usually get the chance to produce and record rap music.  Kids (14-18 yo) will go for 5 days learning about music production and recording, songwriting, etc…

These workshops are called Hip Hop Hope (cheesy, but whatever) and i think they are cheap, with lots of scholarships.  Its a pretty cool, and in my future, I’d really like to be involved in something like this; giving young people a chance to express themselves, combined with the pressure to create something, while surrounded by other creative people, and having the means to lay it down proper. thumbs up.

Here’s the album last years camps made, no download or buy link, but you can listen to all it:

About jefrab

hahaha. I'm just a funny guy who sits at home on my computer a lot, and dj's a bit, and makes music sometimes, and tries to teach himself how to use complicated software of all types. I'm a hippy from an island of 800, who grew up without a radio or flush toilet, but who has somehow managed to make his way around the world, and learn the difference between chinos and khakis...
