I just wanted to post my two favorite techno tracks ever produced.

These two tracks are really amazing.  I listen to a lot of electroacoustic music, and ambient music, and what I’ve realized is that making interesting dance music is way harder than making interesting ambient music, because of how differently you listen.  The window for when something is to dance floor friendly to be that interesting, and when something is too heady to be that danceable.

I think both of these tracks masterfully walk that line.

I admit, youtube links dont do them justice, but I just wanted it to be officially documented that I think these two are the best techno tracks I’ve ever heard.  Also, if you by any strange weird fate wind up reading my blog, and can reccomend anything else with this caliber of experimentation, while still retaining dancefloor energy, leave a comment.

About jefrab

hahaha. I'm just a funny guy who sits at home on my computer a lot, and dj's a bit, and makes music sometimes, and tries to teach himself how to use complicated software of all types. I'm a hippy from an island of 800, who grew up without a radio or flush toilet, but who has somehow managed to make his way around the world, and learn the difference between chinos and khakis...
